The Stormtrooper Corps was the backbone of the Imperial military. They were deployed on missions to attak, and deployed to installations to defend. The corps was comprised of veteran clones, and newly enlisted civilian troopers.

Scout troopers were specialized stormtroopers with modified armor. Their armor was more light weight, and manuverable than the average stormtrooper's armor was. They were somtimes called biker scouts because they were often seen on speeder bikes.

Snow troopers were basic stormtroopers outfitted in cold weather gear. These troopers were deployed on hoth an other snow planets. Their suits had special heating systems to keep the soldier warm in the extreme cold weather they encountered on some planets.

The Imperial Patrol trooper was a stormtrooper that had the job of a police officer. their helmets had special sensors to detect speeding civilians. These troopers had speeder bikes that were quite different from the ones used by scout troopers.

Dark Troopers were not even a trooper. They were heighly advanced robots. These robots had thick and heavy armor, and rocket boosters on their feet. They were exremely formidible and dangerous in combat.

Death troopers were a heighly skilled and specialized group of troopers. Director Krennic used them as his personal bodyguards. They were also tasked with special infiltration ops.

Shoretroopers were stormtroopers in specialized armor that were deployed to ISB installations to protect them. They are more skilled than the average stormtrooper and are equiped with a more powerful blaster.

Incinerator troopers donn white Imperial Stormtrooper armor with special red marking to designate them as Incinerator troopers. They carry a large tank on their back that holds fuel for their deadly flamethrower.

The Imperial Navy commandos were specially trained sentinel troopers that fought for the Galactic Empire. They were usually stationed on Imperial-class Star Destroyers, acting as elite units and often working along side (and in smaller numbers than) navy troopers.
